Like most Packer fans, I am torn on this subject.
As our most-hated NFCN Rivals, I always want to see the Vikings crash and burn. They had a great season, but in the end, they crashed and burned. Crashing and burning due to a Favre turnover made it even better.
We know the feeling all too well.
As a Packer Fan, I do not want to see the quarterback of our rivals, no matter who that quarteback is, do well. When the 'traitor' Favre, assumed the role of opposing quarterback it didn't change that. Sure Favre did good things in Green Bay - he was a piece of the puzzle that was the Packers for 16 years - and I am proud of that. He made us think that he was one of us, and because he was one of us we put up with the heartbreaks that he caused.
However, when he conspired, for whatever reason, to play for our rivals, he crossed the line. He didn't have to do that, but he did.
Now, the Vikes have to put up with the heartbreak, and that is just fine with me...
...perhaps I am not all that torn on the subject after all.
