  • Opening Day: What a start to the season! The 12 time World Champion Green Bay Packers made the Detroit Lions cry "uncle!" by beating them 28-6 at historic Lambeau Field. A savage Packer pass rush collected seven sacks against a toothless Lions offense. On offense, running back Ahman Green fumbled and rumbled his way to two touchdowns and 177 total yards. Quarterback Brett Favre displayed the talents that earned him a record 3 MVP awards by completing 22-28 passes, four of his incompletions were drops. A gold star goes to the Packer QB for his gutsy block of the Lions' Alonzo Spellman, who outweighs Favre by nearly 100 pounds. Green Bay travels to New York this Sunday to face the 2000 NFC Champion Giants for a noon kickoff.
  • Fans packed Nick's Sportsbar to watch the game. Optimism ran high, with may of last year's pundits who predicted an 8-8 season were predicting a stellar 12-4 this year. All indicators say the Pack is Back!
